Debt free

My husband and I have been working very hard to become debt free. When we first married, he had close to $4,000 in debt. We managed to get most of it paid off, only to get back into debt thanks to medical expenses. Every time we'd start getting ahead, some other emergency would strike and we'd find ourselves further and further in debt. It didn't help that I had a couple of credit cards that ended up getting maxed out when the emergencies hit, either.

We were able to get a lot of it paid off in the past couple of years, but there are still several bills left to get rid of. I really wish there was an easy solution to getting out of the hole and starting to climb up the hill instead. We really need the debt relief we deserve to help us get on our feet again. For this reason, I've been looking a little into debt consolidation help.

There are many debt relief options for those of us out there that constantly feel like we are stuck in a hole, buried by our debt. Managing Debt can be as simple as debt relief, or as complex as filing for bankruptcy as a last resort.

Sometimes, some simple restructuring of the family budget can help get you out of debt faster. So far, this is the route we have taken, and we've managed to put our biggest credit cards behind us. Just knowing that we're down to the small stuff has already lifted a great weight off our shoulders, and each bill we've paid off since has helped us breathe even easier.

Someday soon, we hope we can be completely debt free, and that we will have enough money so that we will no longer worry when emergencies arise. For now, we'll keep looking for whatever options are best for our family.
