Flying South For The Winter

Yep, it's that time of the year again. The birds are definitely flying south for the winter. What does that mean for those of us that live in the south? Well, we're seeing some birds that we don't usually see during the warmer seasons.

This morning, I dropped Angel Baby and Monster Man off at school, and came home with Little Man. When we pulled into the driveway, we could immediately see two blue jays in the yard, as well as a cardinal. While we do see these birds from time to time, it is rare to see more than one unless the weather is cooling down.

My Little Man was so excited to see these new birds, which he has never noticed before today, and we sat in the truck for a few minutes watching them look for food on the ground.
