It's official. Our money is about to get even tighter than it already is. My husband's work is slowing down, thanks to the slowing of the construction industry. Instead of the 50 hours a week he is scheduled, he will rarely be making more than 40 hours from now until further notice.
Today he went into work two hours later than usual, at his boss's request. He was then clocked out and sent home only an hour later, when his time hit 40 hours. From what we've been told, this will continue until business picks up, most likely in the spring.
We're hoping for some strange miracle. I've tried getting a job, but nothing is panning out, so we're going to have to rely on what money I've been making online to help pay bills and get our Christmas shopping finished this year.
And we're going to keep praying that we get our miracle.
