A postcard from Germany

Yesterday, we received a postcard from Germany. Katrin, the young lady that sent it to us, challenged us to translate the front (though she offered to translate for us if necessary). If the translator told me correctly, this postcard

means "Children
one loves, become
Adult, the dear ones."

It is such a great postcard! It's so different from traditional touristy postcards, and the coloring is awesome. The message reminds me of how quickly my children are growing up before my very eyes. Time sure flies!

I did find another translation which makes even more sense. "Children that one loves, become adult, who love." So true! If we teach our children how to love now, they will grow up better able to love.
