Earlier this week, I reached that milestone that I was dreading for the past year. Yup, I turned 30. If you ask my kids, they will tell you that I didn't. In fact, they have accepted my whole new plan. Rather than 30, I turned 28. I am now working backwards, and will not start working my way back up until I'm 21. I'll never be younger than 21, never older than 29. Sounds like a plan to me... If only it could really work that way.
Maybe I'll be able to accept being 30 by the time my next birthday rolls around.
