Saving Money on Allergy Meds

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Angel Baby had to have allergy testing last year due to a number of health issues, and we discovered that she was allergic to about 99% of the things they tested her for.  In fact, the doctor commented on the fact that she was "allergic to the world."  Needless to say, we've been spending a lot of money on allergy medicine ever since!

The doctor recommended that we use Zyrtec, available over-the-counter, for Angel Baby in order to prevent allergy symptoms.  Angel Baby has trouble swallowing pills, and she can't stand the texture of chewables, so we were spending a lot of money on bottles of the liquid form of Zyrtec, which only lasted us about a week.  At a cost of about $10.00 per bottle, it was really adding up fast.

That is why I was so excited to find out that Walgreen's offered a Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products version of Zyrtec.  Their bottles, named Wal-Zyr, have been saving us about $2.00 to $3.00 on each bottle we have purchased.  When you think of that in terms of yearly savings, that is over $100 we save in a year!

Most of the Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products contain the same ingredients as the national brands, are pharmacist recommended, and are 100% satisfaction guaranteed.  I don't have to worry about Wal-Zyr, or any of the other products from the Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products, letting us down.  The purchase of these products contributes to the Walgreens Way to Well Fund™, too.
