We'd taken another break from our Postcrossing adventures, but I decided it would be fun to start up again, at least for a little while. It didn't take long for our first postcard to arrive in the mailbox. Within three days, we'd received a total of four. I have just finally had the chance to sit down and register them all, and I wanted to take a moment to share them with you.
This first postcard came to us from Olga in Russia. What a beautiful church building on the front! On the back of the card, Olga share the translations of "hello", "bye", "I love you", and "thank you" into Russian. Unfortunately, they are hard to translate onto blogger or else I would share it with you here.
Our next postcard came to us from Carmen and Angela in Paderborn, Germany. They share that the pictures on the front of the postcard are all the most popular locations within Paderborn. They also shared that their favorite sport in Paderborn is soccer.
The next postcard we received came from a little closer to home... This card came to us from Sara in Texas, who shared with us a quote from Elbert Hubbard, who said "One machine can do the work of 50 ordinary men. No machine can do the work of one extraordinary man." A great reminder to strive to be extraordinary!
Our most recent card isn't a postcard, but is instead a Christmas card. The front of the card translates to "Merry Christmas". It came to us from Ewa in Poland, who shared about the history of her hometown of Lublin. What a great Christmas card!
